Cartoon Creation
Cartoons are funny illustrations put into newspapers and magazines and some are animated and then put on television. These “funnies” or cartoons are very popular. The cartoon illustrations put into magazines or the newspapers are known as the comic strips and these consist of bubble captions along with the cartoons.
Some of the cartoons that were in comic strips were Beetle Bailey, Blondie and Dagwood, and Betty Boop to mention a few that were my favorite. Then as technology advanced there were cartoons that were animated and put on television, such as in the past were Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, The Roadrunner, a small note that this was my all time favorite, and there were many more.
Now it has advanced to so much bigger of a cartoon industry and some of the newer cartoons are Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Max and Ruby, Go, Diego, Go!, and The Backyardigans to mention a few that are great for smaller children and toddlers. Then there is Sponge Bob Square Pants that is so popular with the older children.
There are so many cartoon movies that have came out like Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Madagascar, The Transformers, and Ratatouille. Things have advanced so much in technology that it is unbelievable how real these animated cartoons can seem to the naked eye watching it on television. There is much work and design put into this awesome work to combine with many different technologies to make this a very big money maker.
The cartoons that are animated and put on television or the theaters are created by what is called rapid succession. The illustrations that are drawn are drawn in steps and then by rapid succession it makes them appear as if they are moving.
Many super heros came been created through the cartoon strips and the animated cartoons. These super hero cartoon characters have been turned into cartoon dolls and this has been a very rapid growing industry.
Some of the cartoon character cartoon dolls are Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Snap, Crackle and Pop, Bratz dolls, Dumbo, Barbie, Dora the Explorer, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob Square Pants, the Powerpuff Girls, Betty Boop, and many, many more.
These cartoon character cartoon dolls are made in life size styles, Barbie dolls size cartoon dolls, dolls that are action figures, cartoon dolls that are movable, there are no limit to what the industry has done with the cartoon character cartoon dolls. Disney has produced so much revenue from the cartoon dolls from all their movies. It is amazing what the industry can produce to go along with each and every movie.
But just a warning to parents that not all cartoons on Cartoon Network, and other cartoon stations are suitable for your children. There are some adult cartoons that are totally off limits to younger children and to some of us adults. So please be cautious as to what cartoons you are allowing your children to watch on television and in the theaters.
